Property categories
Three categories of property can be graphed:
- A global property belongs to the scene itself rather than to any part in the scene. Choose this option to list the global scene properties
in the Property chooser. Time is currently the only global property.
- A local part property belongs to a part being graphed. Graphing against a local part property results in each part targeted for a trace being graphed
against its own value of the property. If at any time the property chosen does not exist for one of the traces, the trace
Part chooser is highlighted in red and no trace will appear.
- A specific part property belongs to a targeted part. A Part chooser appears next to the Property chooser so that traces can be plotted against a specific part's property values.
